Former Portland Trail Blazers star center Arvydas Sabonis suffered a heart attack while playing a game of pick-up basketball Tuesday, according to reports.

Sabonis, a recent inductee into the Basketball Hall of Fame, has been retired from professional basketball since 2005.

Simonas Baranauskas of LithuaniaBasketball.com first reported the incident on Twitter. There is no threat to Sabonis' life, but he will still spend the night in the hospital.

Sabonis is the tallest player to ever be inducted into the Hall of Fame at 7-foot-3. He played seven seasons in the NBA, all for Portland, averaging 12 points per game and 7.3 rebounds per game.

Sabonis won the award for best European basketball player eight times during his career, and won a gold medal at the 1988 Summer Olympics.
