According to NESN.com Patriots reporter Jeff Howe, second year cornerback Devin McCourty has been voted by his peers as a captain for the 2011 Patriots.
He reportedly joins Vince Wilfork, Jerod Mayo, Tom Brady, Logan Mankins and Matthew Slater, who was voted as a special teams captain.
