TMZ reports that Ramirez has been arrested in Florida after a domestic disturbance with his wife. According to the report, Ramirez and his wife were involved in an altercation, and Ramirez was later taken out of the house in handcuffs around 7 p.m. ET.
Ramirez abruptly retired from baseball this spring when a second failed drug test meant that he would be facing a 100-game suspension.
