Rob Gronkowski Explains Family Game of 'Zoom,' Says Julian Edelman Would 'Have No Chance' If you grow up in a family with a bunch of future professional athletes, you better prepared for some injuries and hospital visits.

Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski explained Thursday morning on The Toucher and Rich Show that he and his brothers used to prepare themselves for the NFL with a physical game called “Zoom.”

“We used to put pillows in our shirts and run at each other and call that ‘Zoom.’ We tried to knock each other out,” Gronkowski said. “We don’t do that really no more.”

The Gronkowski family is rich with athleticism. Dan is Rob’s teammate in New England, while Chris is on the Colts. They also have a brother who is a minor league baseball player.

Co-host Rich Shertenleib asked Rob Gronkowski how teammate Julian Edelman would do in a game of Zoom.

“He’d go flying,” Gronkowski said. “He would have no chance.”

Shertenleib laster asked if they could set up a charity game of Zoom that would pit Gronkowski against Danny Woodhead.

“That’d be fun,” Gronkowski said with a laugh.
