While each player on the Bruins gets to spend a day with the Stanley Cup, Tim Thomas has been fortunate enough to spend two days with it this offseason. For his second day, he brought Lord Stanley to Burlington, Vt., where the goaltender enjoyed plenty of success with the University of Vermont.
Although it's been awhile since Thomas' college days, Burlington still holds a spot in the veteran netminder's heart. He said that the parade that he took part in there was one of the funnest things he's done in his life. Thomas spent his first day with the Cup in his hometown in Michigan.
To hear from Thomas and to get a glimpse of what his day in Burlington was like, check out the video above from NESN Daily.
