An unusually rowdy golf fan ran toward the green and threw a hot dog in the direction of Tiger Woods, who was lining up for a putt. The bun went flying in one direction, while the actual hot dog landed on the green.
The fan was immediately arrested, but Woods did miss the ensuing putt.
It's unclear whether Woods lost sleep over the incident, perhaps due to visions of a hot dog soaring through the air at him. But we did, mostly because it got us thinking about some of the other memorable "food in sports" moments over the years.
Whether it's food flying out of anger or some casual snacking, it's always entertaining and a little strange when food and sports mix.
