"Jersey Boys" won a Tony for Best Musical in 2006. The Danbury Whalers will probably not receive an invitation to this year's awards.

But that didn't stop the minor league hockey team from trying a rendition of "Walk Like a Man" from the hit Broadway show in an effort to sell some tickets to their opening game on Thursday night.

Team CEO Herm Sorcher and several players filmed a two-minute spot lip-synching and dancing along to the song originally by Franki Valli and the Four Seasons, and it is… entertaining.

Take a look for yourself, with a stick tap to Puck Daddy for spotting this one.
