Former Red Sox GM Dan Duquette Thinks Challenge of Bringing World Series Title to Chicago Could Be Appealing to Theo Epstein

There's a lot of speculation about whether Red Sox general manager Theo Epstein will decide to move on to a new franchise, and one of the organizations that's been tossed around regarding the Sox GM has been the Chicago Cubs.

Former Red Sox general manager Dan Duquette dropped by NESN Daily to give his take on the matter, and he thinks that Epstein could be intrigued by the possibility of leading another franchise in the midst of a long championship drought to the World Series — just as he did with the Sox.

Duquette also gave his take on what type of manager he thinks the Red Sox will go after, and whether he thinks the signing of Carl Crawford last season was a good one.

To hear from Duquette, check out the video above.
