Jerod Mayo Misses First Practice With Knee Injury, Patriots Injury List Growing Longer FOXBORO, Mass. — The Patriots released their first practice report of Week 5, and there are very few surprises despite a large number of names on the list.

Linebacker Jerod Mayo (knee), running back Danny Woodhead (ankle) and wide receiver Julian Edelman (ankle) did not practice due to injuries sustained against the Raiders. Safety Josh Barrett (hamstring) and defensive lineman Kyle Love (ankle) were limited with injuries they sustained Sunday.

The rest of the injuries carried over from last week.

Defensive lineman Albert Haynesworth (back), tight end Aaron Hernandez (knee), tackle Sebastian Vollmer (back) and defensive lineman Mike Wright (concussion) did not participate Wednesday.

Cornerback Kyle Arrington (chest), cornerback Leigh Bodden (groin), safety Patrick Chung (hand), cornerback Ras-I Dowling (hip), defensive lineman Shaun Ellis (knee) and linebacker Gary Guyton (hamstring) were all limited.

Linebacker Dane Fletcher (thumb) fully participated.
