Hey, Red Sox fans.
Are you still angry that your team missed out on the playoffs?
Are you upset that Terry Francona is no longer the manager and Theo Epstein looks to be gone as general manager as well?
Are you furious at all these anonymous sources dragging the reputations of the Red Sox players through the mud?
Well, have yourself some food and drinks and let your frustrations out at Jerry Remy’s Sports Bar and Grill in Boston for “Occupy Fenway,” an “open mic rant” from 5-7 p.m. on Wednesday evening.
“Occupy Fenway” obviously borrows its name from the Occupy Boston protests going on a few miles from the ballpark, but in Boston, baseball often takes precedence over those real-life issues the other folks are fighting for.
“Occupy Fenway will allow Red Sox fans to once and for all get all those ill feelings out with an old-fashioned airing of grievances about our beloved baseball team,” the bar’s website said. “Fans will also have the chance to make their voice heard on social media. Red Sox Nation can send in their gripes via Twitter. Send your message to @jerryremysgrill using the #occupyfenway hash tag.”
