Leryn Franco, Paraguayan Javelinist Who Was Belle of Beijing Olympics, Turns Heads at Pan-Am Games (Photos)The Pan-Am Games in Guadalajara are entertaining enough for the competition alone, but that’s not the only reason worth watching.

Leryn Franco, the javelinist who became an Internet sensation when she competed at the 2008 Olympics in Beijing, is back on the field competing for Paraguay in the Pan-Am Games. It was at the Pan-Am Games in Rio de Janeiro in 2007 where she posted her personal best, though she placed 12th in the competition.
