Liverpool will meet Chelsea in the quarterfinals of the Carling Cup. The game will take place either on Nov. 29 or 30 at Chelsea's Stamford Bridge.
The Reds have been Carling Cup road warriors this season, winning away at Exeter City, Brighton Hove and Albion and Stoke City. Players and staff have underlined the importance of the cup to this year's team. It is one of the season's best opportunities for the club to win a trophy.
The Stamford Bridge trip will be the Reds' most difficult of the 2011-12 Carling Cup campaign.
