Luis Suarez Scores Amazing Goal in Liverpool's Win Over Stoke City (Video)Liverpool forward Luis Suarez has been subjected to whispered criticism recently because he failed to score in consecutive games. His two-goal outburst in Wednesday’s win over Stoke City will silence it for now.

With Liverpool trailing Stoke City in the second half of their Carling Cup meeting, Suarez scored a goal that people will be talking about for some time.

In the 54th minute, he controlled a cross-field pass with ease. He then took one touch, before creating space by slipping the ball through the legs of defender Ryan Shotton (we call that a “nutmeg” in America).

His skill in curling the ball around goalkeeper Thomas Sorensen has the world buzzing. The goal –- his sixth of the season –- is worth watching again and again. He would go on to score the winner late in the game.
