Max Pacioretty Expects to Be Booed, Because 'It's Boston Fans For You'Max Pacioretty was hit by Zdeno Chara last year. It was ugly, but fortunately, the young Canadiens winger seems to be fully recovered.

Despite the fact that nobody — Bruins fans included — blamed Pacioretty for the overreaction from Montreal fans who called 911, police who launched a criminal investiagion and NHL sponsors who threatened to pull their league affiliation, the 22-year-old Connecticut native expects the “boo birds” to be out in full force on Thursday.

In a video posted on TSN.ca, Pacioretty was asked why he expects to be booed. his answer was self-explanatory.

“It’s Boston fans, for ya. You don’t think so?” he asked reporters “I’ve heard from a couple of people they’ll come out.”

The only appropriate response from Bruins fans now is obviously to give Pacioretty a standing ovation when he takes his first shift. That’s just Boston fans for you.
