MIAA Hosting Wellness Summit to Help High School Athletes ‘Be the Best’ They Can Be

The Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association is hosting its 15th annual MIAA Wellness Summit on Friday, Oct. 21 at the Doubletree Hotel in Westborough, Mass.

The theme for this year’s event will be “iChoose To Be The Best i Can Be,” and through its various workshops and guest speakers, will cover different topics that high school athletes deal with on a day-to-day basis, such as good decision-making and physical and mental wellness. More than 300 high school student-athletes and adults will be hosted at the event.

Awards will be presented to the MIAA Wellness Coordinator of the Year, MIAA Partner of the Year, “Making A Difference” Award, and Michael J. Kane Wellness Award recipients.
