Lions defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh will meet with NFL commissioner Roger Goodell this week to discuss the multiple fines he's received from the league, Jay Glazer reported during FOX NFL Sunday.

However, it wasn't Goodell who called for the meeting. It was Suh. The second-year player is seeking an explanation for his fines and will try to plead his case against them, according to Glazer. Merton Hanks, who is in charge of giving fines to players, will also be at the meeting.

Suh has been fined over $40,000 in his one and half seasons in the league including $20,000 for a hit on Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton during the preseason.
