Report: Oakland Raiders Ownership Will Remain in Davis Family Following the death of Al Davis Saturday morning, the Oakland Raiders chief executive Amy Trask said the team will still be owned by the Davis family.

"The team will remain in the Davis family," Trask told the San Francisco Chronicle. "There is a succession plan in place in that regard."

Davis' wife, Carol, and son, Mark, are now in control of the team, as Davis had planned prior to his death. Davis also mentioned in a 2006 news conference that former Raiders head coach John Madden might have a role with team after his death.

"If something happened to Al, I'm sure (Madden) would be someone that Carol Davis and Mark Davis would call, along with several others who have been Raiders most of their lives and still have a tremendous loyalty to it," Davis said in 2006.

Carol and Mark Davis were grieving and unavailable for comment, but Trask said there is a "good structure in place."
