Report: Tim Tebow to Start at Quarterback for Denver Broncos After pulling off a near-comeback that would have made John Elway proud, Tim Tebow will start the Broncos' next game at Miami in two weeks, according to multiple reports.

Hate to say we told you so, but I do believe we told you so.

Fox Sports reporter Jay Glazer tweeted, "John Fox announced to his team about 5 minutes ago that Tim Tebow is the starter!"

Denver fans are probably as excited about the news as Glazer was to break it.

After Kyle Orton struggled in the first half of Sunday's loss against the Chargers, Tebow started the second half. Although he got off to a slow start, he stormed to the finish line by leading two touchdown drives. He finished 4-for-10 for 79 yards and a passing touchdown on a screen pass to Knowshon Moreno, and rushed six times for 38 yards and another touchdown.

The team had a chance to win on the final play, but Tebow's last-ditch effort fell flat in the end zone.

The stat line is unimpressive and inconsequential. The Broncos were clearly sparked with adrenaline when Tebow was on the field. Now, they will find out if Tebow flames out or if that spark can be translated into a new flame for a new era.
