Rex Ryan Claims Even Food, Beer Taste Horrible When Jets Lose

Very little is good for Gang Green at the moment. The defense is 28th in the NFL against the pass. Mark Sanchez is the 22nd-most efficient quarterback in the league. They've lost three in a row and host the winless Dolphins on Monday night.

Worse, even life's little pleasures like food and beer don't taste good anymore for Jets coach Rex Ryan.

"Everything stinks when you lose," Ryan said. "The good tastes terrible. Beer is warm, everything, when you lose. It's absolutely rotten."

While we should all heartily dispute Ryan's assertion that beer can ever taste bad, we get his point. If Tom Brady hadn't done his normal Brady thing in the fourth quarter on Sunday, New England fans wouldn't have enjoyed their Pop Tart and Bigelow Tea quite as much this morning.
