Roberto Luongo Declined Appearance in ESPN Body Issue, Kevin Bieksa Relieved by Goalie's Decision While athletes such as Hope Solo and Blake Griffin might impress readers of ESPN the Magazine's upcoming Body Issue, one athlete you won't see baring it all is Vancouver Canucks goalie Roberto Luongo.

Luongo told the Vancouver Sun that he declined an offer to appear in the issue because, "This body is for one set of eyes only."

But count Canucks defenseman Kevin Bieksa as someone who's glad Bobby Lou turned down the chance, no matter the amount of Photoshopping or airbrushing ESPN could have managed.

"I don't care how good technology is these days," Bieksa was quoted as saying. "There's a lot of hair on that body."

It seems like one Canuck will have to do with Ryan Kesler set to appear in the issue, but one Canuck might be one too many for some people's tastes.
