Should the Red Sox Go After CC Sabathia if He Opts Out of His Yankees Contract?

CC Sabathia is one of the game’s best hurlers and he could be on the open market if he decides to opt out of his current contract with the Yankees.

If so, Sabathia would be walking away from four years and $94 million in the Bronx, meaning he won’t come cheap. Sure, the southpaw is one of the top pitchers in the game but at age 31 and with almost 2,400 MLB innings pitched under his belt (not to mention he’s lugging around about 300 lbs. of human), would it be wise for, say, the Red Sox to toss all that money at him and sign him this winter?
