Terry Francona Offered Contract to Manage Laconia Muskrats of New England Collegiate Baseball League

Terry Francona could be looking for work after announcing Friday that he would not return as the Red Sox’ manager. One possible landing spot has been reported as the Chicago White Sox.

Another destination could be beautiful Laconia, N.H., home of the Laconia Muskrats of the New England Collegiate Baseball League.

The Muskrats, the 2011 NECBL Eastern Division champions, formally offered Francona a contract, which the team posted on its website. The contract includes $6,000 and a number of perks.
