If the Detroit Tigers are going to win the American League Championship Series and potentially the World Series, they reportedly will have to do so without outfielder Magglio Ordonez.

ESPN's Buster Olney tweeted Sunday afternoon that Ordonez will miss the rest of the ALCS against the Texas Rangers, and the season, with an ankle injury. Ordonez has been hitting .385 for the Tigers during the postseason.

This news comes just a day after Delmon Young was ruled out of the ALCS with an oblique injury.

The Rangers defeated the Tigers 3-2 in Game 1 of the series Saturday night.
