Tom Brady Still Has to Pay Up After Losing Bet With Brian Hoyer Over Michigan-Michigan State GameFOXBORO, Mass. — Patriots quarterback Brian Hoyer had an extra skip in his step Tuesday after supplying quarterback Tom Brady and punter Zoltan Mesko with new additions to their wardrobe.

The three had a bet over Saturday's Michigan-Michigan State game, with the loser having to wear the opposing team's colors this week during an interview with the media. After Michigan State's victory, Hoyer hung T-shirts in his teammates' lockers.

"That's how I've been doing it the last two years," said Hoyer, who took a subtle jab at Michigan's recent struggles against Michigan State. "They're good sports about it."

Brady technically still has to pay up. He said he was wearing his Michigan State T-shirt underneath his blue Patriots sweatshirt, but that wasn't part of the agreement. He said he planned to wear it Wednesday when he speaks to the media.

Mesko wore the shirt and did the interview, so his penance has been paid off.
