Former Red Sox manager Terry Francona made his debut as a television analyst on Saturday, filling in for Tim McCarver on FOX.

Francona, who had no prior broadcasting experience, offered color commentary with Joe Buck providing play-by-play. The two-time World Series winning manager overcame two thumb-twiddling rain delays to deliver a solid performance at the microphone.

Don't get comfortable to hearign Francona in the booth, though. He said he still sees himself in the dugout. Still, his TV debut showed he may a talent for this stuff if he ever gets tired of managing.

What grade would you give Terry Francona as a TV analyst?
