After the semifinal match at the Champions Cup at the TD Garden, a familiar face to Boston shook hands and chatted with Ivan Lendl. Zdeno Chara watched the match and the two athletes spoke afterward.

Lendl said he is a huge hockey fan and friend of Chara's. He said he watched the Bruins in their postseason play, cheering for Chara and the team, and was very excited to seen Boston win the Stanley Cup.

Lendl, a former World No. 1 professional tennis player and eight-time Grand Slam single titles winner, was matched against Andre Agassi in the semifinals. Agassi beat Lendl 7-5 to advance to the finals.

Lendl said it was great to see some old friends and get back to the sport he loves.
