Lauren Alaina got a chance to perform on a big stage on Thursday afternoon, as she was tabbed to sing the national anthem before the Detroit Lions and Green Bay Packers game at Ford Field.
She'll probably want a second chance at some point.
The American Idol runner-up got off to a rough start, as she temporarily messed up and forgot the words. A quick pause (although really, it seemed like an eternity) followed, before Alaina got back to business.
She wasn't the only one struggling on the big stage on Thanksgiving, though. Matt Lauer knows what we're talking about.
Give Alaina credit, though. She finished strong.
