Best Fights in Bruins History Include Cam Neely Pummeling Lindy Ruff, P.J. Stock-Stephen Peat BoutMilan Lucic and the Bruins will likely have their heads on a swivel on Wednesday night when they head into Buffalo for a matchup between the top two teams in the Northeast Division.

Lucic will be, at the very least, an unpopular man when he takes the ice against the Sabres, as it will mark the first time the teams have met since Lucic ran over Sabres goalie Ryan Miller on Nov. 12 at TD Garden.

Lindy Ruff and the rest of the Sabres called on the NHL for discipline after the incident has caused Miller to miss time with injuries. The Sabres failed to gain any sort of retribution on the ice a couple of weeks ago, so it’s certainly possible that they will have revenge on their minds on Wednesday night, especially given the fact that the NHL didn’t discipline Lucic.

If the Sabres do come calling, though, there isn’t anyone who doesn’t believe Lucic won’t answer the bell, as he’s proven in the past he’ll drop the gloves with just about anyone.

By harboring that mentality, Lucic is right there among the long line of B’s before him who have stopped at nothing to defend themselves, and more importantly their teammates, if the situation calls for it.

Those instances are usually memorable, and more often than not, it’s the fighter out of the Black and Gold corner that comes away victorious.
