Chiefs Receiver Jonathan Baldwin Makes Incredible Catch on Brian Dawkins’ Back, But Offsetting Penalties Negate Play (Video)

It could have been the catch of the year, maybe even the catch of the decade. But, instead, it was the greatest play to never happen.

Chiefs wide receiver Jonathan Baldwin was covered by Broncos cornerback Brian Dawkins as he ran his route to the Denver 25-yard line Sunday. When Matt Cassel's pass was underthrown, Baldwin reached around Dawkins to catch the ball on his back, somehow coming down with the reception.

But when a couple of flags were thrown on the play, the big gain disappeared. There were two fouls on the play that offset, meaning the Chiefs had to replay the down. Still, though, the catch was pretty amazing.
