The Bruins do their part to honor America's heroes at every home game at TD Garden by giving a special salute to someone who has served the country with pride. On Tuesday night against the Senators, the "8-Spoked Salute" was especially memorable.

The B's honored Plymouth Army Spc. Steven Gutowski with their nightly in-game salute. Gutowski died in September while serving in Afghanistan. The Bruins honored the fallen hero on the same night that Gutowski's father and sister were to attend after Gustowski bought them tickets for their October birthdays.

Unsurprisingly, the TD Garden crowd gave Gutowski's family a rousing standing ovation in his honor.
