Jamie Carragher Could Play for Liverpool Sunday Against ChelseaJamie Carragher could return to action Sunday when Liverpool faces Chelsea. The veteran defender has been out with a calf strain since Oct. 26 but has returned to full practice, according to the club website.

"Jamie has joined in training over the last couple of days and looked good," coach Steve Clarke said. "He was out for a couple of weeks with a minor calf injury.

"We just made sure he took his time, recovered from it, and he's trained well these past couple of days. He'll be in contention for the weekend if there are no mishaps between now and the game."

Before the injury, Carragher was the first-choice center back in Kenny Dalglish's pecking order. He started Liverpool's first nine league games as well as two Carling Cup games.

Martin Skrtel and fit-again Daniel Agger have partnered in defence in the two games Carragher missed. The Reds did not concede a goal in either game.
