It appears The Second Mile, the charity founded by Jerry Sandusky for at-risk children, is in the final stages of its existence.

The charity asked its donors to direct funds away from The Second Mile and toward the Pennsylvania Coalition Against Rape. The charity announced last week that it's considering restructuring, transferring programs to other organizations or shutting down altogether.

Sandusky, who founded The Second Mile in the 1970s, is accused of sexual assault against boys he met through the charity. He faces 40 charges and 460 years in prison.

Sandusky denies the allegations.
