LSU-Arkansas Outcome Hardly Makes BCS System Any Clearer
For yet another season, there is controversy at the top of the Bowl Championship Series, with fans and experts in disagreement over who deserves to play for a shot at the national championship.

The outcome of Friday's LSU-Arkansas game didn't do much to clarify the picture, and voters have a tough decision to make as they weigh strength of schedule, computer formulas and other factors is deciding who should play Jan. 9 at the site of the Sugar Bowl.

All the number-crunching makes cartoonist Will O'Toole wonder if it wouldn't be easier to just have a playoff.

Since graduating from Seton Hall University, Will O'Toole has been doing cartoons for over 30 years for a number of papers (USA Today), magazines (College and Pro Football Weekly) and websites (CBSSportsline.com). He is believed to be the only national cartoonist to have voted for the Heisman Trophy and the Wooden and Naismith Awards.
