Bud Selig Has Learned From Frank McCourt Mess, Won't Be Contacting Jon Corzine Anytime Soon
Major League Baseball couldn’t stop patting itself on the back after it announced that it had reached an agreement with the players association on a new labor deal. The relatively painless process promised to bring 21 years without a work stoppage to the national pastime.

Baseball is not without its troubles, however. Still, former New Jersey Gov. Jon Corzine, who resigned as CEO of the futures broker MF Global after the company fell into Chapter 11 bankruptcy under his watch, is not about to become a member of the baseball owner’s fraternity, despite his similarities to owners in Los Angeles and New York.
