Matt Light Present in Patriots’ Walkthrough After Injuring Ankle Against Chiefs

FOXBORO, Mass. — Left tackle Matt Light was present Wednesday for the Patriots' walkthrough in the Dana-Farber Field House.

Light wasn't wearing a boot, though it appeared he might have had his right ankle taped under his sock. While it was only a walkthrough, it's worth noting cornerback Devin McCourty was not at last week's walkthrough after injuring his shoulder, and he didn't play in the ensuing game against the Chiefs. So it is a good sign that Light was in attendance.

The Patriots practiced kickoff returns during the media portion of practice, so Light remained on the sideline with the rest of the offensive linemen. Light and the linemen did not conduct any drills during the media portion.

Linebackers Brandon Spikes (knee), Dane Fletcher (thumb) and Jeff Tarpinian (illness) were absent from the walkthrough.
