NFL Fans Show Appreciation for Those Who Serve in Military During Sunday's Games (Photos)Fans across the NFL may differ when it comes to which teams they root for. But those in attendance for Sunday's games unanimously showed support for those who protect our freedom day in and day out.

During Sunday's slate of NFL games, fans expressed their appreciation for military members by holding up colored cards that spelled out a message. Some spelled out, "Thank you military," while other crowds spelled out "Thank you for your service." Either way, it was a cool gesture by the league and its fans.

Each message was a rather impressive sight to see, as it requires thousands of fans to act in unison. But given the sacrifices those members of the U.S. military make in order to ensure we can enjoy football every Sunday, it's a well-deserved display of gratitude.
