Penn State Students Flip TV Satellite Van Following Announcement of Joe Paterno’s Termination (Photo, Video)

Penn State students reacted strongly in the moments after it was announced that football coach Joe Paterno would be dismissed from his job effective immediately.

Students took to the streets to chant and sing in support of the long-time Nittany Lions head coach. However, things apparently got pretty ugly — at least in one case.

Sports Illustrated’s Jon Wertheim tweeted a photo of a TV satellite van that was flipped by rowdy students. See below.
