Ryan Miller was very candid when discussing Milan Lucic following Saturday's game. Now, it appears Lucic will have to answer to NHL disciplinarian Brendan Shanahan for his hit on the Buffalo netminder.

Lucic will have a hearing with Shanahan at 1 p.m. on Monday, during which Shanahan will have to decide whether the Bruins forward will be further penalized for the hit, TSN's Bob McKenzie reports.

The play in question happened in the first period of Saturday's tilt between the Bruins and Sabres. Lucic blocked a shot from Buffalo's Thomas Vanek and then proceeded to chase after the puck in what looked to be a potential breakaway. Miller came storming out of his net, however, beating Lucic to the puck. Going full speed, Lucic collided with Miller, sending him down to the ice.

After the game, Miller made his feelings about Lucic perfectly clear.

"I'm not going to really get into that," he said. "I just stuck around because I just want to say what a piece of [expletive] I think Lucic is. Fifty pounds on me, and he runs me like that. It's unbelievable. Everyone in this city sees him as a big, tough, solid player. I respected him for how hard he played. That was gutless. Gutless, piece of [expletive]."

Miller has reportedly suffered a concussion and will be out indefinitely.
