Report: Terry Francona to Interview for Cardinals Mangerial JobAfter leaving the Red Sox job this fall, Terry Francona said he didn't know when he'd get back into coaching. He may not wait long.

The 52-year-old will interview with the Cardinals for their managing vacancy, according to Joe Strauss of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. The position became available earlier this week when Tony La Russa announced his retirement just days after St. Louis won the World Series.

The report indicates that the Cardinals' committee for finding a manager has a list of fewer than 10 candidates it plans on interviewing for the position. Also on the list are Ryne Sandberg and Jose Oquendo. Francona is the only candidate, according to the report, with major league managerial experience.
