Robin Van Persie Thanks Theo Walcott For Sparking Goal ExplosionRobin Van Persie credits Theo Walcott's service for turning him into one of the world's most feared — and coveted — forwards. The Daily Mirror reports the Arsenal captain believes his on-field understanding with Walcott is behind his astonishing run of goals.

"After every single goal, people ask me, 'Who gave the assist?'" Van Persie said. "I just say, 'Who do you think?' We have that connection. I know what he is going to do, which is very important."

The 28-year-old Dutch master leads the English Premier League in goals this season with 11 in 11 games. It is part of an almost mythical 2011 during which he's scored 34 goals in 39 games for the Gunners.

The oft-injured Van Persie has finally managed to stay healthy for a prolonged period of time and Arsenal is reaping the rewards. He has been able to improve his connection with his fellow attackers by focusing on the game's finer details.

"It's vital to have a player around me, as a striker, who knows where I move, how I move, do I want the ball into feet, do I want it behind," he said. "He knows where to find me. Stuff like that is vital."

Walcott has been a regular in the Arsenal team this season, playing on the right side of a three-pronged attack. He too has battled injuries over the years. A good run of health and form could see him secure a spot on England's Euro 2012 squad.

Van Persie, Walcott and Arsenal look to continue their positive turnaround this Saturday when they visit Norwich City in English Premier League action.
