Bill Cosby always had worthwhile advice for Theo. Now he has some advice for Tebow.
Cosby went off script in a video promoting an upcoming March 31 performance in Denver, praising Tim Tebow while poking fun at the hubbub over the Broncos quarterback.
"Call Tim Tebow and ask him for a great day on the 31st," Cosby says. "By the way, I like the way that team plays football, and all these people who don't understand it, tell them to come on and beat them.
"Because it's football, boom, boom, and tell Tim I said, don't worry about what all these people are saying about him. Just show them old films of Joe Kapp, Minnesota Vikings, football playin'."
Cosby might be known as the funnyman behind Bill Cosby: Himself, The Cosby Show, Fatherhood and those Jello Pudding Pop commercials, but he knows football. He played football at Temple during his college years and is a regular at Owls games.
