Paul Tandy has already found a lot of success in his young life. As a high school sophomore in Alaska, Tandy has a 4.0 GPA, plays multiple instruments and is a member of the wrestling team. Not a bad resume.

Amazingly, he’s also blind.

Tandy, who was born three-and-a-half months early and was adopted as 1-year-old in Taiwan, continues to serve as an inspiration to those close to him as he refuses to let his handicap slow him down.

Wrestling presents obvious obstacles for someone without the benefit of the sense of vision, but as 9 News in Colorado reports, Tandy and his coaches are trying to make it work

Regardless, it’s obvious that Tandy’s story is an inspiring one.
