Roberto Luongo Trade Rumors Not Credible, Says Canucks General Manager Mike GillisOnly a few months into the season, and the only person that may need his tires pumped is Roberto Luongo.

Recently, there have been a few trade rumors that Vancouver is interested in getting rid of Luongo, as reported by the Toronto Sun.

The 32-year old goaltender has started most of the Canucks games this season, sharing the role with Corey Schneider, which may have led to the speculation of a trade.

However, Canucks GM Mike Gillis put an end to the rumors on a radio interview, saying, “All you have to do is look at the source of that story and you’ll know there’s zero credibility. We’re really happy with our goaltending. We have an opportunity to win every night with Cory [Schneider] and with Roberto.”
