FOXBORO, Mass. — It wasn't quite the scene from the not-so-critically-acclaimed movie Twins, but it seemed close.

Patriots running back Danny Woodhead, who is listed at 5-foot-8, got a chance to meet former NBA player Gheorghe Muresan, who is 7-foot-7 and the tallest player in league history.

"It was cool," Woodhead said with a wide grin. "Anytime you can meet someone else, it's a cool deal."

Woodhead was out with Patriots punter Zoltan Mesko, who was introduced to Muresan by some mutual friends who were Romanian journalists. Naturally, it led to a fantastic photo opportunity on Mesko's Twitter feed.

Woodhead was coy about the height difference, but he definitely appreciated the chance to meet Muresan.

"Just like talking to anyone else," Woodhead said. "It's nothing different. It was just meeting some other guy, and that's how it was."
