Delonte West has left once again.

The Dallas Mavericks announced that they have signed the free-agent guard, a season after he returned to Boston for a second go-round with the Celtics.

West played in 24 games with the C's last season, averaging 5.6 points and 2.7 assists in 18.9 minutes per game.

The 28-year-old also played with the Celtics from 2004-2007 before he was traded to the Seattle Soncics (now Oklahoma City Thunder) as part of the deal that brough Ray Allen to Boston. He then went on to play two-plus seasons in Cleveland, and eventually re-signed with the C's as a free agent before the start of last season.

The 6-foot-4 St. Joseph's product has averaged 9.7 points and 3.6 assists per game in his career.
