Expanded MLB Replay Should Make Life Easier for Vision-Impaired Umpires
One of the overlooked parts of the new collective bargaining agreement between Major League Baseball and the players is that instant replay review will be expanded, pending an agreement with the umpires.

Traps and plays near the foul lines will now be reviewable in addition to the close home run calls already reviewed under the current system. This should help umpires who always seem to have their vision challenged at the most inopportune times — or so cartoonist Will O'Toole hopes.

Since graduating from Seton Hall University, Will O'Toole has been doing cartoons for over 30 years for a number of papers (USA Today), magazines (College and Pro Football Weekly) and websites (CBSSportsline.com). He is believed to be the only national cartoonist to have voted for the Heisman Trophy and the Wooden and Naismith Awards.
