Golden State Guard Charlie Bell Shows Up Drunk to Court Hearing for Drunken Driving

Drunk driving is obviously a terrible idea. Showing up to a court hearing about a drunk-driving arrest? That's just plain stupid.

However, that's exactly what Golden State Warriors guard Charlie Bell did on Thursday, according to a Flint, Mich., ABC affiliate via the SFGate.com.

Bell was arrested on Oct. 21 for drunken driving, and he was then put in custody on Thursday after blowing a .09 prior to the hearing. The legal limit is .08.

The reserve guard was held on a bond violation until he sobered up. He was due back in court Friday, the same day the Warriors opened training camp.
