Was an MVP award and Cy Young not enough for Justin Verlander? Just in case, he's adding another title to his offseason haul.
On Friday, Verlander announced that he's been chosen as the next cover athlete for 2K Sports' latest installment of their MLB franchise, Major League Baseball 2K12.
While it may not have the same prestige or superstitious baggage that comes with a Madden cover, Verlander had no reservations about showing his excitement.
"Got an early xmas present from the team at @2ksports, @MLB_players and @MLB!" Verlander tweeted, along with a picture of the upcoming cover. Check it out for yourself below.
