Apparently Raffi Torres didn’t learn his lesson.
Just one night after Adam McQuaid turned him into a bloody mess after he took out Andrew Ference with a high elbow, Torres landed his second cheap, high hit against the Avalanche when he took out Jan Hejda.
Hejda, who was falling to the ice after dishing out a long pass in his zone, took Torres’ elbow right to the temple, as seen below. Torres was not penalized on the play.
