The coach's seat in San Diego is not yet vacant, but the Chargers brass is reportedly already looking for a warm body to replace the empty shell formerly known as Norv Turner.

Former Steelers coach Bill Cowher has already had "an interview" with Chargers officials, Mark Cannizzaro of the New York Post reports. Cowher has been rumored as a possibility to replace Tom Coughlin if the Giants continue their spiral, having lost five of their last six games.

Both San Diego and New York could be attractive to Cowher. The Chargers have loads of talent, including a franchise quarterback in Philip Rivers, while the Giants have turned into a model organization led by Eli Manning, who is having one of the best seasons of his career.
